minstrels play on

Okay, here's your chance to completely convert me - Angels, I need your help.

I'm in the mood for some new music, especially since I've got the day and a half trip on the train coming up. (I know it sounds long, but I actually really do like it.)

Soo give me the names of a couple of your favorite bands/musicians and I'll check them out. I don't care if I've heard them before or end up not liking them, I'm just looking for some recs - and I listen to pretty much any type of music.

There are very few bands I'll plunk the money down on to see live, but they are *so* worth it if you ever get the chance.

I have a really good feeling about the music that I don't know on here, because the music that I do know is all really good ;)

Thank you, bb! I'll have to go check them out =)

Some of these I know (Metric, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, We Were Promised Jetpacks) but a lot I don't! *bounces excitedly* Thank you, I'll have to go troll Youtube and give them a listen! <3

Mumford and Sons. I'm completely obsessed. They only have one album out so far, Sigh No More and there is not one single song I dislike, though I do have favorites: Little Lion Man, Sigh No More, Winter Winds, and Thistle and Weeds.

I'm also on a Sister Hazel Kick: Strange Cup of Tea, All For You, Beautiful Thing, Change Your Mind. And I could listen to Muse's "Glorious" forever. XD

Have a safe trip and enjoy the new music!

Mm, I'm totally with you on Mumford and Sons, they're fricking amazing <3

I haven't listened to Sister Hazel, although the name sounds familiar, so I'll have to check out them and Muse as well. Thank you for the recs! =)
